Why Wives Cheat On Their Husbands

Most men think that a woman satisfied with her marriage won’t fly into the arms of a strange man. They feel that having occasional sex contacts is characteristic only of young, single and mentally unstable people, whereas a mature and rational woman would never take such a step.

This impression is proved by science. Hundreds of psychiatrists unanimously agree that usually a woman can have sex with a man only provided she has an emotional attachment to him. The same can’t be said about men. They do not need anything like that for having sex. Numerous surveys have proven this.

But experienced psychiatrists know that sometimes all questionnaires or stories aren’t worth believing. At first, while speaking about sex women understate their sexuality. The most interesting thing is that they are not cunning; they simply do not remember many facts concerning their sex life. They need some time and confidence in the psychiatrists to recall some facts concerning their sex life. You can’t even imagine what they can call to mind.

Nobody says wives commit adultery more seldom than their husbands. Women are more reserved than men. And if a woman's relationship with a man was unsuccessful then she forgets him.

No scientist could ever answer the question why wives cheat on their husbands. We can enumerate the causes taken from various questionnaires. But we had better let women have the floor.

So almost 80% of spouses cheat on each other in fantasies or while sleeping.

It can astonish you but adultery is transmitted from parents to their children. If both parents cheated on each other then their son or daughter is unlikely to be faithful to their spouse. If only the mother was unfaithful, then her son and daughter would probably cheat on their spouses. If the father cheated on his wife, then only his son is going to be inclined to adultery. It is curious that a father's behavior doesn’t affect his daughter family relationships at all.

Most unfaithful husbands consider their marriage to be quite successful, whereas most unfaithful wives are not satisfied with their family life. Most men consider adultery to be a sex adventure. They are eager to experience new sensations, to try out a new body (as a rule, a younger one).

Most women look for tender feelings and friendship in outside family relations. At first they fall in love with their lover and only after some time they feel a desire for intimate relationships. 81% of married women who have lovers say that first of all friendship and confidence in their lover is important for them. Sex is also important, but not as much. Married men often have outside family sex relationships, and all these "romances" are not long lasting. They are only for sex and nothing more. An average woman can’t cheat on her husband only with her body, so she can’t understand her husband’s behavior. She doesn’t believe him when he doesn’t remember the name of a woman he had sex with after he drank a bottle of wine a month ago. He remembers what kind of wine he drank but was it with Helen or Julia? It didn’t matter to him. A woman remembers the name of her lovers even after 15 years.

So you can see that men and women have quite different attitudes toward sex, personal relationships and adultery.

Perhaps that is why throughout history men and woman can’t come to an understanding. What a pity!
