Hi-tech Spray-on Condom Being Developed
A new spray-on condom is being developed by German sex educators at the institute for Condom Consultancy. According to the researchers the new product is intended to provide people with a new method of contraception allowing them enjoy better and (this is very important) safer sex lives.
Dr Krause - the leader of team developing the hi-tech condom says they are going to make up a perfect condom which will suit any man, no matter how long and how thick his penis is.
The new condom will look like this: it will be a type of spray can. First of all, a man has to insert his penis into it. Than he has to push of a button and get his penis coated in a rubber condom. Being inside the can the penis is being sprayed on latex from nozzles on all sides - once round and from the head of the penis up to the bottom. Five second -and you can begin enjoying safe and very pleasurable sexual intercourse. As you see the procedure is quite simple.
Developers of the new condom claim that it will function more effectively as it will fit better than usual condom and will not slip.
Do not hurry to drugstore or to a shop, you will not find spray-on condom there! Before spray-on condom can become available in shops, the researches must make sure that the liquid latex is evenly spread when being sprayed on the penis.
Now the team is looking for condom testers - men whose penis is about 9-12 cm long and from 15 to 20 cm.
The leader of the team hopes that spray-on condom which is supposed to be available in various strengths and even colors, will enter the market by 2008. He says that the hi-tech condom will probably cost about $40. Latex cartridges - one sufficient for about 20 application will probably cost $20 .
Well, we wonder whether the spray-on condom can be used with sex toys for better hygiene. The developers have not said anything about this matter yet.
Actually, this is not going to be the first liquid condom developed. Last year female liquid condom went on sale in China. What was it?
Female Liquid Condom
Named the Nanometer-silver Cryptomorphic Condom (NCC) is designed for female usage. As well as male hi-tech condom mentioned above it is spray. According to the manufacturer, the antiseptic foam which is sprayed in the vagina forms a physical membrane. This membrane both protects a woman from infection and makes a barrier to pregnancy. As well the membrane provides a lubricating effect thus being very useful for women who lack natural lubrication.
The number of bacteria the liquid condom protects women from is really astonishing. The liquid condom protects its user from such gynaechological disease pathogens as staphylococcus aureus, candida, coliform bacillus and others. The most important thing about female liquid condom that it can prevent many sexually transmitted diseases.
The company producing the liquid condom adds that it can remain in the vagina for quite a long time. A woman has nothing to fear - the condom does not destroy the vagina's chemical balance. What is more, daily use of the product contributes to maintaining genital hygiene and prevents infection by pathogens.
With liquid female condom women get more possibilities to enjoy better and safer sex lives. It's not a secret that most men refuse using condoms, as these contraceptives making sensations weaker might prevent men from full enjoyment. Hence, a woman who wants to have safer sex has to talk her partner into using condoms and often fails to do that. With liquid condom she can care for her safety herself without depending on her partner.
In the end we can say that still the condom is the only method of contraception which both prevents pregnancy and protects from sexually transmitted diseases. Hence, scientists are constantly developing ways to encourage people to use condoms.
They develop very thin condoms which do not weaken sensations, ribbed condoms, glowing in the dark condoms and even musical condoms which as the name says plays music during sexual intercourse. Safer and funnier sex life with new condoms!
