In a certain amount of cases, getting sexual enjoyment results in lethal outcome, according to New Zealand scientists who arrived to this conclusion after long-term studies.

The basic risk group includes people who have heart diseases, who suffer from sudden arterial blood pressure falls and rises and those who have respiratory tract diseases.

Also scientists say that death during sexual intercase might occur due to some reasons that do not deal with state of health, such as asphyxia or cardiac arrest emergency.

Shockingly enough, people of all ages are at risk. Though elderly people, who more often have heart diseases are more likely to die of sexual pleasure, young people who do not seem to have any health problems also have a risk of such a death.

In February 2005 Connecticut Supreme Court sentenced a 25 year old man to 30 years in prison, since a 13 year old girl dies while having sexual intercourse with him.

The girl and the man met in the Internet and sent to each other porn pictures. After some time they began dating and had sex for a few times. The man claims he did not know that the girl was only 13 years old and that she had a heart disease.

The man was not accused of death, he was sentenced only for child sexual abuse (one more case of this kind with another girl was proved). The attorney of the accused claimed that the girls had sex with the man absolutely consciously and voluntarily. Also he said that the man was bitter sorry about the girl's death. No sorrow helped the man and now he is staying in prison.

The conclusion is very simple: people who have heart diseases should be very careful when making love, but as scientists say each of us is under the danger of dying while getting sexual pleasure, so what can we do? Nothing ventured, nothing gained, wise people say. At least it is much more pleasant to die of sex rather than of cancer.
