18000 of naked men and women got together in Mexico for setting an amazing record. All of them took off their clothes to become models for the famous photographer Spenser Tunick. This event became the world's largest erotic photo session. The unusual photo session took place in one of the world's largest squares called Zocalo, that is located in the center of the Mexican capital. The photographer used a megaphone to manage the photosession. 18 thousand of naked people lied down, got up, got down on their knees, embraced one another on command. Spenser Tunick took pictures of thousands of naked human bodies from the balconies of the buildings that are situated around the square and from a crane. The photographer said the photo session was a great event for Mexican art. “No porn, no criminal, only happiness and attention” - said the Spenser Tunick in an interview. The number of people who dared become models for erotic photo session is not the only unusual thing about this event. The fact that Mexicans took part in such photo session is very important, as demonstration of naked body is not habitual in this country. “This event proved the fact that our society has become less conservative and we all are getting rid of taboos” - said Fabiola Errera, a 30-year-old University professor, who also took place in the event. However, many Mexicans disapproved of Tunick's photosession. “These people lost their dignity. This was a protest against church”, said a 63-year-old witness of the event. This was not the first photo session of such kind by Spenser Tunick. Before he managed to gather together 1700 naked people from all over the Britain, 500 naked Londoners, 2000 naked Chileans and 7000 naked men and women in Barcelona. This was the last photographer's record, that was broken in Mexico. How many naked people will take part in the next Tunick's photosession? Time will show. |
