Love Bug vibrator made in Great Britain will not be enjoyed by sex toy lovers any longer in Cyprus, since the sex toy was branded a treat to Cyprus national security. The ban is caused by the fact that electric waves delivered by the radio-controlled sex toy might disrupt army's radio frequences. Love Bug manufactured by Ann Summers is a little egg shaped device operated by a remote control Lizzie Eddleston, the spokesperson for Ann Summers says that the remote control has a range only of six meters. They still sell the sex toy, but they warn Cypriots not to use it in Cyprus, only abroad. Though militaary officials do not give any reasons for the ban on Love Bug, the government's Communications and Works Ministry say that the ban was milirary decision. They never saw these vibrators before they were banned, so they did not have even a chance to check them. However ,they are strongly convinced that military would never impose a ban on anything without good reasons, according to the spokesperson for government's Communications and Works Military. Lizzie Eddleston added that Ann Summers realize the fact that they must honour the request and they had made it clear that the vibe is not for sale in the island. They told they locals that they have a lot of other sex toys that are not banned. After all it is better to make love, not war', said Lizzie Eddleston. |
