Due to new breast enlargement surgery techniques women can have their breasts enlarged and go to dinner on the same day, British surgeons claim.

The operation can be completed in half an hour with very low levels of anaesthetic drugs, John Tebbetts, Texan plastic surgeon says.

According to the surgeon the level of pain that the women who have undergone breast enlargement experience does not require any drastic medications, only those that are available without a prescription.

Dr Tebbetts will describe the new operation at the annual meeting of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons on Thursday. More than 2000 of the speedy procedures have been already performed by the doctor.

Circa 85 percent of the patients go out to dinner the same day they have been operated on, Dr Tebbets says. That is why the operation is called “out to dinner” breast augmentation.

The operation causes no visible bruising so the patient has no need to wear a special bra. According to the doctor, the operation is performed with use of surgical techniques that drastically reduce bleeding after the surgery. Thus the patients almost never experience any bruising after this operation.
